Origins and History
Lavradores de Feitoria was founded in September 2000 as a pioneering collaborative project bringing together 15 Douro producers for the first time to share knowledge, experience, innovation, and tradition. The name references the historical 'feitoria' wines that were selected and certified by the Marquis of Pombal, connecting the producer to one of Portugal's most important wine heritage legacies.

Vineyards and Terroir
The project spans all three sub-regions of the Douro DOC: Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo, and Douro Superior. Stony soils dominate the vineyard landscape, a hallmark of the Douro valley's schist-driven terrain.

Grape Varieties
The estate works with a broad range of both indigenous Portuguese and international varieties. White varieties include Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Síria, and Viosinho, as well as international grapes Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Semillon.
