Les Vergelesses (Aux Vergelesses)

Les Vergelesses, also known as Aux Vergelesses, is a Premier Cru climat located in Savigny-lès-Beaune on the Côte de Beaune. It sits at the northern edge of the commune, directly bordering Pernand-Vergelesses, making it a boundary climat in both a geographic and qualitative sense. This location at the communal frontier gives it a character that is distinct from Savigny's other Premier Crus. The vineyard is part of the broader UNESCO-listed Burgundy Climats designation, which recognizes the historical and cultural significance of Burgundy's named vineyard sites.
