Clos des Corvées Pagets sits within the commune of Premeaux-Prissey, at the southern end of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation in the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard occupies an east-facing slope at 240 meters elevation, placing it among the more delicate crus in this southern sector of the appellation. At just 1.5613 hectares spread across five cadastral plots, it is one of the smaller premier cru sites in Nuits-Saint-Georges, a fact that contributes to its relative rarity in the market.

Moving upslope, the soil transitions to a reddish, more clayey profile with lower limestone content, adding depth and texture to the wines. The Premeaux-Prissey section of the appellation experiences a cool continental climate, and Clos des Corvées Pagets is noted for producing wines of particular finesse and complexity within this setting.

- Soil variation across five plots contributes to aromatic and textural complexity
History and Classification
The vineyard traces its origins to the larger Aux Corvées lieu-dit, which was recorded at 7.83 hectares in the 1861 classification of Côte d'Or vineyards. The current boundaries of Clos des Corvées Pagets were established when Premeaux-Prissey received its formal premier cru classification in 1936. By 1920, the three primary owners were the Hospice de Nuits, Jean Cognieux, and Charles Vienot; around 1980, Vienot's holdings passed to Arnoux-Lachaux, who remain one of the most prominent producers of this wine today.
